"Idyllic retreat - no need to say any more". The words of 2 of our early guests in September 2018 to the newly renovated Cransworth Springs, offering a peaceful and tranquil haven from which to base a self-catering holiday in Cornwall. Set in its own 6 acres of open fields with beautiful views of Cornish countryside across the Rosenannon Downs and valley.

We are situated just 10 minutes drive from the A30 Victoria junction which provides access to the whole length and breadth of Cornwall. Glorious golden North coast beaches are just a 25 minute drive away as is the popular fishing village of Padstow with all of its shops and wonderful eating places.

Other popular places for days out such as Newquay, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Rock, Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Eden Project are all just a short drive away.

Wadebridge, 10 minutes drive, is our nearest town offering supermarkets along with a great range of shops, pubs, restaurants and cinema.  The popular Camel Trail can also be accessed here providing a scenic walking and cycling path which follows the banks of the river Camel to either Padstow or Bodmin.

We have 2 properties for rent. Both boast magnificent views across the farmland of Rosenannon valley and outdoor barbecue and eating area to enjoy the views and warm summer evenings. With winter breaks in mind both are extensively insulated and enjoy full central heating providing a warm and cosy winter hideaway.

Ivy Cottage provides luxury for a couple. Bramble Lodge is a fun and different way for a small family or 2 couples to experience a true countryside holiday. Booking the 2 properties together would allow mum, dad the kids, granny and grandad to enjoy quality time together in a beautiful rural setting.

In addition to all this you'll be able to enjoy the beauty and peace which comes as standard at Cransworth Springs. Whilst refurbishing Ivy Cottage we stumbled across a poem which had obviously been written by a visitor in the past, entitled “Cransworth Peace”. We think this manages to capture the essence of the place.

We very much hope to welcome you to Cransworth Springs in the future. Please explore this website to find out more about availability and making a booking and contact us if you have any questions at all.
